Looking for a skilled Operations Support Officer to start ASAP in Mackay.

Your new role 

  • Provide administrative support to operations teams, including managers, engineers, and supervisors
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets, registers, and filing systems with a high level of accuracy
  • Prepare and distribute operational documentation, reports, and client paperwork
  • Support stock control, material tracking, and billing processes
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth information flow
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and streamline administrative processes
  • Ensure compliance with safety, privacy, and company policies at all times
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with rapidly changing schedules and priorities
  • What you'll need to succeed 
  • Previous experience in an administrative support role, ideally within operations or project environments
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, and administrative systems
  • Adaptable, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
  • Relevant administration qualification (desirable)
