About Our Client

Our client is a well-established engineering and maintenance services provider supporting the mining, resources, and heavy industrial sectors across Queensland. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality workmanship and reliable solutions, they specialise in shutdowns, maintenance, and fabrication services.

 

What You Will Be Doing

·         Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and abrasive blasting

·         Remove rust, scale, grease, and old coatings from equipment and structures

·         Operate sandblasting and painting equipment safely and efficiently

·         Apply protective coatings and industrial paint using spray guns, brushes, or rollers

·         Mix paints and coatings to the correct colour and consistency

·         Ensure coatings are applied to required thickness and quality standards

·         Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work areas

·         Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements in industrial environments

·         Inspect completed work and carry out touch-ups if needed

·         Work from drawings, specifications, or instructions

 

What You Will Need

·         Minimum 3 years Industry Experience

·         Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks

·         Trade Certification

·         Drivers Licence

·         White Card

·         Confined Space is desirable

·         Working at Heights is desirable

·         Hay Point induction is desirable
