ResourcePro is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Senior Project Leads and Project Leads to deliver capital works projects across mining operations in Queensland and the Northern Territory.

Opportunities are currently available across the following areas:

Senior Project Lead – Underground Mining Projects
Leading a small team of Project Managers and overseeing a portfolio of underground mining projects.

Project Lead – Electrical Projects
Managing the delivery of electrical projects onsite, including coordination of contractors, stakeholders, safety, schedule, and budget performance.

This is a contract-based FIFO role with flexible roster options (4:3, 8:6 or 7:7). Competitive remuneration packages are offered, with flights available from Darwin, Cairns, Townsville or Brisbane.

About the Role

As a Project Lead, you will take ownership of the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of diverse capital projects across mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines.
You’ll play a pivotal role in driving project performance, safety, and stakeholder alignment, ensuring outcomes that meet or exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery in line with client, company, and contractual requirements

• Define scopes, manage budgets, and monitor schedule performance across multiple projects

• Champion safety and field leadership to maintain zero-harm standards

• Build strong, collaborative relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders

• Oversee construction planning, scheduling, and subcontractor engagement

• Support commercial and contract management activities

• Mentor and develop project teams to achieve operational excellence

About You

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical preferred) or Diploma in Project Management

• Demonstrated experience delivering heavy industry or mining projects

• Candidates with underground mining experience will be strongly regarded.

• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience in bids/tenders

• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills

• Advanced communication, presentation, and organisational skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• Committed to safety, governance, and professional integrity
