The Opportunity:
Beaumont Tiles is Australia’s biggest retailer of tiles and bathroomware, and we’re looking for a driven Retail Assistant Store Manager to help lead one of our high-performing stores.

This is a hands-on leadership role supporting the Store Manager to drive sales, lead the team, and deliver an exceptional customer experience—while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in the success of the store by:

  • Supporting the overall performance of the store, including sales, operations and team engagement
  • Leading from the front in customer service and sales generation
  • Creating a safe, positive and high-performing team environment
  • Ensuring store standards, merchandising and compliance are consistently met
  • Assisting with stock management, inventory, and operational processes

This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities for this position:

  • Drive sales growth across both retail and trade customers
  • Support and mentor the team to deliver excellent customer outcomes
  • Maintain high store presentation and merchandising standards
  • Assist with stocktakes, inventory management and ordering
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues with professionalism

We’re looking for someone who thrives in retail leadership and is passionate about delivering results:

  • Proven experience in a retail or sales environment (leadership experience highly regarded)
  • Strong sales mindset with the ability to achieve and exceed targets
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
  • Confidence to lead, coach and support team members
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
