Hays are currently seeking an experienced mine site project admin for an exciting opportunity.

Ourclient is a well-established operation in North West Queensland, offering astrong pipeline of projects and a reputation for delivering high-qualityoutcomes. They are currently seeking a ProjectAdministration Officer to join their team on-site in a key support rolewithin the Projects function
Your new role 
This is anexciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join a fast-pacedProjects Team, working on-site on a 4/3 roster(Tuesday to Friday, 05:30am – 5:30pm)

In this role, youwill play a critical part in supporting project delivery through high-leveladministrative coordination, working closely with internal stakeholders toensure accurate reporting, system management, and smooth day-to-day operations.

Duties may include:

  • Providing end-to-end administrative support to the Projects Team 
  • Maintaining accurate     project data, documentation, and reporting tracker  
  • High-volume data entry and management using Excel and internal systems
  • Supporting purchaseorders, invoicing, and cost tracking processes
  • Coordinating travel, accommodation, and site access requirements
  • Assisting with project reporting and stakeholder communication
  • Updating and maintaining records within systems such as Pronto
  • General administrative support to ensure efficient project delivery
  • What you'll need to succeed 
    To succeed in this role you will need: 

  • Previous experience in a site-based or project administration role
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (essential), including the ability to manage large data basis
  • Experience with Pronto or a similar system
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a high-volume environment
  • Ability to meet the demands of a site-based roster (4/3 DIDO from Townsville, Charters Towers or Ayr)
  • Ability to complete a full pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
