The Branch Manager Position: This is a high-demand leadership role, so you will be highly motivated, energetic, and a professional team leader. The full-time position based at the Bowen Branch will involve all aspects of Branch Management, and customer service and engagement, building on an already established business and team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a strong Branch team by example, championing individual development
Implement, monitor and assess strategies to grow the financial performance of the Branch
Oversee the administration of the Branch in areas such as Transport, Stock Control, Ordering, Processing, Sales and Invoicing.
Build strong customer relationships and design and implement strategies around customer retention, ensuring business strategies are delivered in a cost-effective and efficient manner
Identify Team strengths, working actively to ensure individual performance benchmarks contribute to the overall strategy and success of the Team
The Branch Manager will demonstrate and instil in others the leadership behaviours aligned to the Muirs Culture and Values
Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will be:
Self-motivated, with a strong leadership style, and an entrepreneurial and ‘can-do’ mindset.
Your focus should be on teamwork, communication, and safety, and your previous experience should show a solid track record of success.
It is expected that your computer skills and literacy with Office Suite would be at a level commensurate with this position.
You would have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a sound business acumen and a strong understanding of financial budgets, pricing and stock controls.
Experience in the agriculture and irrigation sectors will be an advantage.
An unrestricted current driver’s licence is essential.
