As a Chemical Attendant at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, you'll work closely with the Laboratory team, Process Improvement Engineer and Evaporator Operator to monitor, troubleshoot and adjust the chemical dosing systems used onsite.

This position will be based at Invicta Mill in the Burdekin Region on a Day Work roster and may require some weekend work and overtime.

Your Role in Action

• Chemical Caretaker: Perform chemical stocktakes and safely move chemicals around the mill.
• Data Detective: Assist operators in regular sampling of mill products for laboratory analysis.
• Clean-Up Crew: Assist with chemical cleaning and other cleaning as required. 
• Conquer the Mill Maze: Carry out general surveillance of factory areas. Provide clear, regular and accurate feedback to mill management on factory issues.
• Safety Star: Lead by example in health & safety, ensuring every task is done with care and caution.

Your Winning Combination

We believe in investing in our team, while applicants with a Forklift and/or Loader Licence and High-Risk Work Licences (e.g. Working Safely at Heights) are desirable, we are prepared to provide training to those who show the right aptitude and fit.
