LOCATION
 
Amman, Jordan - Private Royal Estate 
The Client will arrange the work visa and relocation if not local.
 
 
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
 
The Diving & Water Sports Instructor will be responsible for delivering safe, professional, and high-quality diving and water sports experiences for the Principal, family members, and VIP guests within a private royal estate setting. The role requires strong technical expertise, excellent safety awareness, and a discreet, service-oriented approach aligned with palace standards.
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES
  • Certified Diving Instructor (PADI, SSI, CMAS or equivalent - mandatory)
  • Valid water sports instruction certifications (e.g. jet ski, wakeboarding, water skiing, snorkelling, surfing, windsurfing, swimming, kayaking)
  • Valid First Aid, CPR, and Rescue Diver certification
  • Strong swimming ability and excellent physical fitness
  • Clean professional record with strong safety compliance
  • EU Passport is highly regarded
 
EXPERIENCE
 
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Diving and Water Sports Instructor
  • Experience working in luxury resorts, private yachts, or UHNW / VIP environments preferred
  • Proven experience managing water safety, equipment maintenance, and guest instruction
  • Comfortable working with beginners through to advanced divers
 
 
KEY SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
 
  • Exceptional water safety and risk management skills
  • Ability to instruct, guide, and supervise guests confidently and calmly
  • Strong communication skills with a polite, professional, and discreet manner
  • High attention to detail in equipment checks and maintenance
  • Flexible, service-driven attitude suitable for a private estate environment
  • Absolute respect for confidentiality and palace protocols
 
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Conduct diving and water sports activities safely and professionally
  • Provide instruction, supervision, and guidance to family members and guests
  • Ensure all diving and water sports equipment is maintained to the highest safety standards
  • Monitor weather and water conditions and assess risk before all activities
  • Enforce safety procedures and emergency response protocols
  • Maintain detailed logs, safety records, and equipment inventories
  • Coordinate closely with estate management to meet guest preferences and schedules
 
SALARY
 
Up to USD 5,000 per month (subject to tax, social security, and insurance)
