Seam Gas Solutions is seeking experienced Polywelders, EEHA Electricians, Mechanical Fitters and Operators to join our team supporting a long-term Coal Mine Waste Gas Infrastructure and Reticulation Contract for a Tier 1 Energy Company in Moranbah, Queensland.

These positions offer excellent earning potential of up to $135 per hour (depending on role, qualifications and experience), long-term project security, FIFO or DIDO options, and the opportunity to work with a highly experienced team delivering critical gas drainage infrastructure across one of Queensland's leading mining operations.

Polywelder Opportunities

Responsibilities include:

• Butt fusion welding up to 630mm HDPE pipe
• Electrofusion welding
• Operation of McElroy Tracstar, Dixon and World Poly welding equipment
• Pipe preparation and cutting
• Telehandler operation
• Forklift and Excavator operation highly regarded

Required:

• PMBWELD301 & PMBWELD302
• Chainsaw RII
• Relevant RII & HRWL and equipment tickets
• Plumbing trade qualification highly regarded

EEHA Electrician, Mechanical Fitter & Operator Opportunities

Responsibilities include:

• Installation, relocation and maintenance of coal mine waste gas infrastructure
• Maintenance and operation of gas drainage systems
• Equipment inspections, fault finding and repairs
• Ensuring compliance with safety and operational requirements

Required:

• Relevant Trade Qualification
• EEHA Qualification (Electrical positions)
• Telehandler and Forklift RII/HRWL highly regarded
• RIIMCU206D Install, Maintain and Recover Gas Drainage Systems highly desirable

Minimum Requirements

• Standard 11 Surface Induction
• Coal Board Medical
• Current Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol Testing and Functional Assessment
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Ability to work away from home on roster arrangements
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
