About the roles:

Browns Vegetation Management Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Arborist and a couple of laborers to join our team in Rockhampton, QLD. These full-time roles are responsible for the provision of professional arboricultural services to our clients, including the safe and efficient maintenance and management of trees, shrubs and other vegetation.

What you'll be doing:

  • Inspect trees, shrubs and other vegetation to assess their health and identify any safety issues or maintenance requirements

  • Perform a variety of arboricultural tasks such as pruning, trimming, felling and removal of trees and vegetation

  • Operate a range of specialized equipment and machinery, including chainsaws, chippers and aerial work platforms

  • Provide professional advice and recommendations to clients on the appropriate care and management of their trees and vegetation

  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client work and equipment maintenance

What we're looking for in an Arborist:

  • Formal qualifications in arboriculture, horticulture or a related field

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Arborist, with demonstrated expertise in tree assessment, maintenance and removal

  • Proficient in the use of arboricultural equipment and machinery, including chainsaws, chippers and aerial work platforms

  • Strong knowledge of relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • A current driver's license, min MR truck license, and willingness to travel to client sites as required

What we're looking for in a Laborer:

  • Willingness to learn in a fast paced, on the go, team environment

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Min. MR truck license

  • Previous experience in the field preferred but not necessary

  • Relative level of fitness required
