About the role

We are looking for an experienced engineer to join our business, to become an integral part of our engineering division. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge electrical and electronic systems and solutions that drive our business forward.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and developing electrical, and electronic systems and components to support our manufacturing operations

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical challenges

• Conducting testing and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability and performance of our systems

• Providing technical support and guidance to our operations and maintenance teams

• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our engineering processes and outputs

• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation

What we're looking for

• A degree in Electrical Engineering

• RPEQ Registration

• Relevant experience in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and solutions specifically for underground coal mining

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Proficiency in using engineering software and tools, such as CAD, simulation, and programming languages

• Proficiency in AutoCAD software is preferred

• Experience with PLC programming is desirable, but not necessary

• A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

• Australian work rights are required for this position
