Peries IGA are well established in the community and prides themselves on the strong Fresh Food offer.

The store has a friendly experienced team looking for a positive, and trade qualified Butcher or Slicer who can assist this department expand and grow.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to perform consistent quality work to a high standard while unsupervised.

Major duties and responsibilities will include;

• Deliver high retail standards within the Meat department

• Assist with the waste control practices within the store

• Maintain Food Safety & Occupational Health and Safety Standards

• Provide excellent customer service, with high level communication and interpersonal skills

This position will commence as a Part Time role however this may increase to Full Time for the right candidate.

Suitable candidates must be motivated and enthusiastic.    

Applicants will be required to work a variety of shifts over a 7 day period.

The successful applicant must be able to provide a copy of their Trade Qualifications. 

                    People without trade qualifications need not apply.
