About the Role

All Industries Mechanical is seeking a Trade Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic to join our growing team.

This role is focused on transport refrigeration, working on truck air-conditioning systems and refrigeration units on transport vehicles and trailers — no domestic or commercial building work.

You’ll work both in the field and from our local workshop, keeping fleets operating efficiently through high-quality diagnostics, servicing, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair truck air-conditioning systems

• Service and maintain transport refrigeration units (Thermo King, Carrier, etc.)

• Preventative maintenance on refrigerated trucks and trailers

• Fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems

• Ensure compliance with safety and refrigerant handling regulations

• Complete job cards and service reports accurately

• Deliver professional, reliable service to customers

About You

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or relevant mechanical trade with transport refrigeration experience

• ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence (RHL)

• ARCtick TRT07 Licence

• Experience with transport refrigeration or truck air-conditioning systems

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Highly Regarded

• Experience with Thermo King / Carrier units

• Heavy vehicle or diesel background

• Auto electrical experience
