About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Stonemason to join our growing team.

Ten Commandments Granite & Marble is a locally owned and operated stone fabrication business servicing Central Queensland. We specialise in premium stone bench tops, commercial stone installations, and monumental works, with a strong reputation for quality craftsmanship and customer service. 

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, shape, and finish stone using hand and power tools

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Install stone bench tops, splash backs, and monuments.

• Repair and restore existing stonework

• Ensure projects are completed to high-quality standards

• Maintain a safe and organised work environment

Requirements

• Qualified stonemasons preferred, however experienced applicants from related trades such a cabinetmaking, construction, tiling, CNC Operation or stone fabrication are encouraged to apply. 

• Ability to read plans and technical drawings

• Experience with natural stone and engineered stone.

• Experience with CNC Saws (desirable)

• White Card (required)

• Current driver's licence

• Strong attention to detail and workmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
