The Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services (BEMS) at the Proserpine Hospital is seeking applications for a Trades Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity

The primary focus of your role will be to assist the BEMS Management team with the delivery of Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services at sites and facilities within the MHHS. This position requires the candidate to lead, direct and be accountable for the day-to-day operations for Contractors and coordinate trade services in supporting the Facilities.

This position reports to the BEMS Manager.

About the Team

The Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services (BEMS) department has three distinct sections, the Maintenace Team, Capital Works and Administration Team.  The Building Engineering and Maintenance Services (BEMS) provides integral maintenance and engineering support for multiple facilities, across the Mackay Hospital & Health Service, to ensure relevant compliance to OH&S and all relevant AS/NZ standards. We provide a one point contact for all building and facility related information. 

The Director Facilities Management is the senior manager for all BEMS services, the position reports to the Executive Director of Finance and Corporate Services.
