About the Opportunity

Due to consistent growth across our business, we are now seeking a Fitter Machinist to join our high performing team in Mackay QLD 4740.

 Your Tasks

• Program, set and operate CNC lathes in accordance with work orders, drawings and other instructions.
• Assist with material and component selection and handling.
• Maintain identification and traceability of manufactured products.
• Look for opportunities of continuous improvement within the organisation.
• Operate in a safe manner and in accordance with WH&S Regulations.
• Operate manual lathes and mills 

 This position will attract an hourly wage of between $45.00 to $50.00 + superannuation, commensurate with your qualifications, experience and accomplishments.

About You

• Relevant Mechanical Trade (essential)
• Solid understanding of hydraulic cylinder clearances and tolerances (Desirable)
• Understanding of the re-manufacture process including fitting, machining, and welding
