Electrician

HBT requires electricians to work in our facility at Paget. We have positions available for:

IS electricians

Cable manufacturing electricians

Key Responsibilities (depending on which role):

• Manufacture and assemble electrical cables including cutting, stripping, terminating, and fitting connectors to specification.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and cable assembly documentation
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform testing and quality checks including continuity and functionality testing of cables and electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and assist with repairs and equipment maintenance.
• Operate and set up cable production and assembly machinery where required.
• Maintain accurate production, testing, and maintenance records
• Follow all electrical standards, safety procedures, and company policies

About You

• Qualified Electrician (Certificate III Electrical Trade Qualification).
• Experience with electrical systems, cable termination, and troubleshooting
• Strong attention to quality, safety, and workmanship
• Strong problem-solving ability with the capability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance
